MUSICOLOGY
Madeline is passionate about the power of music to positively impact lives. Her research transcends social, dramatic and clinical applications of music and performance to make positive change.

Over the course of her doctoral research, Madeline investigated how the genre of opera can more effectively align to the ideologies of modern feminism, proposing musicological methods of creative innovation from opera to contemporary performance.
​
Alongside this, Madeline has spent several years researching the impact of music and singing on health and wellbeing. As part of this work, she has created and singlehandedly delivered several national initiatives, worked with national charities and released groundbreaking creative output including her recent book 'Your Self, Health Voice' and feature article for Prima magazine.

Madeline is a creative at heart and loves to share her work and research with others, whilst producing meaningful and impactful output.
